While cooking and catering food, I discovered something far greater than just a full plate. Many chefs and cooking programs on television seem to miss one of the benefits of cooking; and that is the power of its presentation as a handmade gift to someone. Everyone loves the idea of gifts and to give someone in need always brings pleasure and joy to the soul. I found a simple and surprisingly powerful way to allow people to smile and significantly improve my own life and the lives of others. Cooking for others as a gift is a good social connector and can help to keep up the kinship ties. Also it shows appreciation to others? Imagine the smiles on their faces when they see a lovely dinner ready to be served. It is a free gift that you can give away to several persons in one single day. This gift should not be taken for granted because it is indeed special. Rather, it should be given away frequently. If you are a good-natured person and know how to cook, your smile and your food presentation will warm the hearts of others, and nothing works faster or is more dependably to bring your mind and body back into balance than a good laugh and a healthy meal.
